Washing Dishes and Listening to Tori

a few things occurred to me....

my fave Scarlet's Walk songs are in this order..

1) long taxi ride
2) carbon
3) a sorta fairytale

also that "Vegas" song really annoys me!!! i don't know why..but i'm always waiting for it to be over and go to the next song....

And about the Further Tales tapes....wait a fucking second....

it occurred to me whilst scouring a pot that THERE ARE A MILLION THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN THE BOOKS that happened AFTER THOSE TAPES!!!!! so no fucking way are those the LAST TAPES!!!

and yet. that's all blockbuster has. so what the fucking fuck???

for one thing, that bitch Dorothy has to cheat on DeDe at the Womyn's Retreat and as much as I don't to see that I know that it happens *after the scenes in the tapes*....

And Bryan and Mary Anne have to break up and I have to cry for hours about it because he spends the last night in their apartment before she leaves for New York.

And "Mouse" has to be diagnosed with HIV and I have to cry over that.

And I have to cry over Parker Posey's character dying and leaving Mary Anne that baby and then the little girl finding her mother's old things and that scene broke my heart so much!!!

Actually pretty much everything else that happens is *hella depressing*!!!!

Maybe they just decided to end on a happy not and not film it???

I know exactly what you mean. I kind of like the first four lines or so, but after that, it just . . . I don't know. It's not the right beat for the song or . . . something. But I always skip it, even though I like the first bit of it and feel really bad for skipping . . .

Hm, I haven't really gotten into Tori, but my Howie is opening for her right now and they'll be here Tuesday and Wednesday. If I go, I doubt it, but if I go, I'll stick around and check Tori out.
