You Can't Wake, I Can't Sleep

Somehow, "Heroes" managed to pull of a brilliant season finale. I was in tears for like half the damn thing. I am beyond impressed.

And oh Claire! My selfish yet well-intentioned, bratty, impulsive, brave girl! You inspire me even when you're doing probably stupid things!

Me: Mommy, I want a Quinn.
Mom: (pause) a dirty cop ?
Me: But he was a good boyfriend!
Mom: (incredulous look)

I think someone's ready for me to go back to girls already.

Also, my life is so ridiculous sometimes it's just funny.

And Laurel and I talked for 11 and a half hours online yesterday - that is all new levels of insanity! And possibly us having too much free time but shut it. Best Cylon Sister everz! :)

Douglas Copeland's Shampoo Planet is my least favorite book by him even though now I know where that Panic at the Disco title comes from. ("I Write Sins, Not Tragedies"). And understand some reference on SoN about Fighting Crime being code for sex. Although it seems more like you'd have to lie about fighting crime like if you were in an underground organization or a Hero or um something and then you could use it the other way like "Uhhhh I have to go....have sex now!!" "Yeah we both have to have sex..." "But he's your Uncle/Brother!" *gasp* Oops.

I love seeing my name in certain people's handwriting. And hearing certain people say my name. Because I am a hopeless fangirl that way and it's kind of surreal, I mean the people saying my name part for sure...

What are some of your favorite web series?

My first favorite was this one I found years ago called "The Burg" (http://theburg.tv) which is a comedy about a bunch of hipster kids living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Also, I guess this was more like a short webcast type thing but this thing called "Hope is Emo," which was just one girl and I tried to make multiple people watch because I thought it was hilarious, but no one thought it was funny except me. That happens a lot.

Most recently, I'm in love with Imaginary Bitches and I watched all of season one.

Other things I've watched some of - The Guild, Feed, Girl Trash, webisodes for shows I watched (South of Nowhere, Degrassi - I guess that's a different category but throwing that in there. I still haven't watched the webisodes for BSG, actually), that one episode of that one with Deanna Casaluce about college or something.

I prefer the shorter ones, because I have ADD, and somehow that makes me able to sit and watch a whole bunch in a row. And it's more suspenseful.

Anyway unlike everyone else in the world, I had trouble getting into the Guild :/

And oh this post has nothing to do with Elle at all, but I haven't used this icon forever and I wanted to look at pretty Elle and her sparky magic while I was typing!

Strangely, I've totally gotten back into "Heroes" and am having a massive crush on Peter/Milo, which I mostly missed the first time around because I was so distracted by Claire/Hayden. (I did drag my sister to his panel at Comic Con two years ago though)

Which led me to reading Peter/Claire incest fic, which is my new favorite thing in the world!!!! I'm not sure why I never read it before. Crazy.

I have really bad cramps and I have to see my psychopharm tonight which always makes me bad moody.

Still working on nano even though I've fallen somewhat behind. Did pass the 25 K mark.

I never write in here anymore. Just twitter. Kind of sad.
