WTF Bella?

Okay, so I'm reading New Moon and like (this isn't spoilery) but why is Bella a moron??? Who the hell dates the person they're gonna spend the rest of their life with in *high school*? Who even stays with the first person they dated forever?

I really wanna write a fic where like he gives in turns her into a vampire and then they have some idiotic fight about like him not caring enough about Prom or her getting a text message from Mike whoever and then she's stuck being a damn vampire and like Edward's whole family sides with him cuz that's how it goes and she has no boyfriend and no friends and she's stuck being a lonely vampire FOREVER (except maybe Alice would be friends with her still and it would be all fucking awkward and wind up tearing apart Edward's family).

Or not. Or she's a lonely angsty vampire who can't control her bloodlust and like kills Charlie and feels guilty forever and it drives her insane and then she turns evil and teams up with the bad vamps.

I could get behind Evil Dark Bella. But silly high school Bella.....ughhh!
